🚢 From Japan to Aruba — Shipping Story 2026

🇯🇵 ➜ 🇦🇼 How We Ship Your Car

Follow the full journey of your car — from export yards in Asia to arrival at Port of Oranjestad — and learn how Hoegh, Yuwa, Eukor, NYK Line & K Line bring your vehicle home safely.

1️⃣ It starts in Asia

When you reserve a vehicle with Be Forward Aruba, it begins at an export yard in Japan, South Korea, or Singapore. Even European makes are often already in Asia and prepared there.

2️⃣ The ships that make it happen

Your car isn’t packed in a container — it’s driven onto a RoRo ship just like brand-new factory cars. Be Forward works with these world-class carriers:

All five use enclosed decks — your car is driven on and off, secured and insured throughout the voyage.

3️⃣ Can I choose which ship my car goes on?

No. Ship assignment is handled automatically by Be Forward Japan’s logistics partners. Each vehicle is placed on the first safe and available sailing according to:

The process isn’t random — it’s optimized for the fastest departure and reliable delivery. Once confirmed, your client dashboard shows vessel name, voyage number, and ETA (Aruba time).

4️⃣ The ocean journey (typical timelines)

During this time, your portal’s Track My Car tab shows live ETA updates from Hoegh/Eukor feeds and any transshipment notes.

5️⃣ Arrival in Aruba

Once the vessel docks at Port of Oranjestad, your car is unloaded and entered into C.A.P. (Car Arrival Progress). From there, your portal shows:

6️⃣ Example timeline

Day 1–3 — Order confirmed & inspected for export.
Day 5–10 — Booked on Hoegh vessel.
Day 11–70 — Japan → Panama → Kingston (transship) → Aruba.
Day 70–90 — Cleared and ready for pickup.

7️⃣ Notes & Caveats

8️⃣ In short

From Asia’s export yards to Aruba’s sunshine, your car travels half the world aboard certified RoRo ships. You can’t choose the ship — but you’ll always know which one it’s on and when it arrives, thanks to Be Forward Aruba’s C.A.P. system.
